If you're a neurodivergent TTRPG creative craving community with like-minded folks to exchange ideas and support each other, The Kobold Co-op was created for you!

What is Kobold Co-Op?

The Kobold Co-Op is a virtual third-space for TTRPG creatives:

This is your space to show up as you are and dedicate one hour a week to your passion in a low-pressure, no-hustle environment.

You'll have a seat at the table alongside other TTRPG creatives doing their thing, too.

We're not here to pitch or perfect. We're here to help you protect time for what lights you up.

What would it feel like if…

It's easy to push your game-related goals to the side when they're not your main source of income (or even any source of income). Capitalism and hustle culture try to eliminate free time for things we enjoy for the sake of enjoying. We believe that pursuing our passion projects (like gaming and storytelling) should be something we hold time and space for just because we love them. I'm here to help hold that space for you.

Enter the Kobold Co-Op. We're here helping you protect the time and space to work on your TTRPG projects, helping you find a community of creators who will support you in a low-pressure, no-hustle environment.

The Kobold Co-Op is for you if:

How does it work?

Once a week, we meet on a virtual group call to co-work together. Body doubling can be a highly effective form of working, especially for people who are neurodivergent. The rest of the week, you will have access to a set of private discord channels, where we invite you to:

Who am I?

Hi! I'm Stevie, lifelong lover of games. I'm also a neurodivergent adventure writer, GM, and cartographer just trying to finish a project (or 12). Dedicated time to focus on my projects can be so hard to achieve, but that's why the Kobold Co-Op was created.

How Kobold Co-Op Can Benefit You (a Case Study featuring my brain)

I wrote, edited, formatted, and published my first adventure in less than 2 months. I moved on to my second….which took me over a year (and it still isn't published publicly). What was the difference? The first time I had a dedicated space, time and setting for co-working both at a set time once a week and asynchronously throughout the rest of the week. The second time I did not have peer co-working or support. This allowed my brain time to follow all the shiny things it saw instead, then I'd feel guilty about not getting anything done, then shiny things would appear again….and the doom cycle of ADHD set in. The Doom Spiral of No Focus is no fun. (but it would make for a great game mechanic, just sayin'.)

I am here holding that space for you, instead of letting you deal with the cycle of no focus. Each week, we meet live for co-working, and throughout the week, you're backed by a discord channel of peers ready to support you in your process and project. It's time to give your passion projects the time and energy they deserve.

What To Expect

Once a week we will meet on Zoom at Tuesdays at 8pm Eastern to co-work together. Come as you are and bring your project! We'll spend a few minutes sharing our goals for the hour (totally optional), and I will be available to chat if you hit a snag or need to talk something out. Near the end of our hour we will regroup and brag about what we got done.

During the week, you can engage on our private discord channels with me and other creators as your work through your project. We're here to create a community that supports you at any pace. No pressure. No hustle.
